How to Position Your Hat

Most head pieces are worn to the right hand side of the head, sitting slightly on the forehead.
Allow about a finger gap between the base of the hat and the eyebrow.

How to Take Care of Your Hat

Here are some friendly tips to ensure your hat stays in tip top condition.

We know hats are just fabulous items, a fun addition to any outfit. However, they are also very expensive,
extremely delicate and prone to damage and wear and tear. So please do take special care of yours!

– Avoid rain
-Go light on makeup around forehead area
-Avoid spraying perfume on hat
-Fingers off
-Don’t overstretch the elastic
-Know when to put your hat to bed !

As the night goes on, speaking from experience I have found that these hats are not as robust as we are.

When the dancing starts ( whoop! ) , remove the hat, wrap it up and

store it back in its box if possible or place it somewhere safe. ( not under a table, behind the bar or on a chair ! )

In my experience its best to do this while your drinks tally is still in single figures….
If the hat is lost, stolen or damaged ( including any dents, loss of decoration or water damage )
or dirty condition that exceeds normal wear and tear, as determined by Once Upon a Hat

at its sole discretion there will be a replacement charge up to the retail value of the price charged to the hirer.

Lastly , I would love to see a picture of you wearing your hat on your special occasion.
